Woohoo! We did it!

Well, it’s done! I’ve been procrastinating and today I finally bought my ticket to go to China. I’m nervous but now I’m just ready to go. I’m already thinking about what to pack and what to toss. It’s funny, every time I see or use something I think about keeping it, throwing it out or earmarking it for someone. It’s a good thing though because for the first time in my life I’m looking at material possessions that way. At my cousin’s graduation, a speaker talked about giving up “things” and not wanting for “things” – and that we only if we do so will we grow. Right now, I’m feeling ready – ready for the next life chapter, ready to grow, ready to make changes and ready for what’s right.
